It was 100+ degrees in Dallas. Grandpa and grandma were visiting and heaven knows we don't want to sit around in the house all day. That's when we decided to go check out the Bass Pro Shop in Garland.
Before we knew it, we had spent the afternoon in what looks like a beautiful lake-side resort. First you are drawn to the balcony edge where it opens to a view of lake Ray Hubbard, then we proceeded to explore the rest of the store's layout.
Of course there is all the sporting supplies for the enthusiast, but there is all sorts of clothing, souvenirs and eye candy for everyone else.
There was no reason for us to go find a place to eat as there was this beautiful lake-front restaurant attached to the store. We sat down for dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere, which included a huge salt-water aquarium.
